  ...made her European debut at Venice’s Grand Teatro La Fenice as a Blumenmadchen in a production of PARSIFAL mounted for the 100th anniversary of Wagner’s death. Ms. Kahn has also appeared as Xanthe in Strauss’ DIE LIEBE DER DANAE at Carnegie Hall with Eve Queler and the Opera Orchestra of New York. She debuted at Rome’s Teatro dell’Opera as Norina in DON PASQUALE.

Ms. Kahn has appeared at Cagliari’s Teatro Lirico as Fiakermili in Strauss’ ARABELLA; and with Vincent La Selva and the New York Grand Opera in the roles of Oscar in UN BALLO IN MASCHERA, Musette in LA BOHEME, and Violetta in LA TRAVIATA. She sang the title role in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR with the Treasure Coast Opera in Florida; and toured with Rochester Opera Theater as Adele in DIE FLEDERMAUS.   Ms. Kahn is currently singing the role of Violetta in LA TRAVIATA, Rosina in THE BARBER OF SEVILLE, and the title role in CARMEN and Little Red in Seymour Barab's LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD for Arts Horizons' (La Piccola Opera), an outreach program, in the Metropolitan area. She has also sung the role of Musetta in LA BOHEME with the Riverside Opera Company in Staten Island, New York.   

Ms. Kahn has also performed with the Brooklyn Opera Society, Merrimack Lyric Opera of Lowell, Massachusetts and Southwest Virginia Opera. She has worked with conductors, Gabriele Ferro, Massimo De Bernard, Eve Queler, Vincent La Selva and Henry Lewis: and directors Pier Luigi Pizzi, Christoph Grosser, among others.
Marjorie Kahn was a winner of the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition, a finalist in the International Enrico Caruso Voice Competition and a finalist in the McAllister Awards for Opera Competition. A native of Florida, she has studied at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in voice performance from the University of Georgia.
She has also appeared extensively in concerts throughout North America and Europe and recently was featured on Channel 5 Good Day New York morning news program..
